today I was organizing some of my "lamp parts" into the very cool vintage berry boxes and in between the boxes fell out these very old calling cards. They don't really have any value, but it was such a fun surprise on this chilly January day.
Aren't these cool? I love the stories that they must have had. Were they these fancy ladies dance cards that the Master of Dance had in his pocket? Who knows.
Stay warm and snuggle by the fire today. I've just got a new cup of tea. Molly is meowing more than ever with this chilly weather. I've been trying very hard to get Muffin inside.... Molly's big black & furry kittyfriend. He scared stiff of me; fall before last I helped to have my friend Ed capture him.... we got him in Ed's car and he took him home to Middletown Springs, about 15 minutes away. He stayed only a day & a half. Muffin treked all the way back to Pawlet with his kitty raydar. Pretty amazing, there are a few mountains between here and there. I know he spends the night snuggling with Molly in the shop. I can only imagine what happens in the lampshade shop when I go home! The kitties are probably happy when the lampshade lady leaves so they can have their house back. Ha. Ha. Here's Molly.... meow!
